My name is Wouter Tolenaars and I live in Uithoorn, about 15km (10 miles) from Amsterdam (The Netherlands). I'm a graphic designer for a living but photography always has been one of my major interests. Nevertheless it took me until April 2006 that I bought my first camera. It was then that I decided to learn as much as possible about this artform.
I've taken photography courses and went to California for a studio and outdoor workshop. I've made a roadtrip from LA to Yosemite park and back to LA through Death Valley. I'm planning on making more roadtrips with fellow photographers because traveling is also one of the things I love to do.
Besides photography and traveling, music is one of my passions. I'm the drummer in a metalband called "Polydrone". I'd love to combine music and photography, so I'm planning to do more band photography in the near future.
